With less than a month to go until our first day of class at our new preschool in San Mateo, I wanted to share with you some photos I snapped of the school - I'm just so proud and can't wait to open!
Outside
First up, here's the preschool from the outside. It has a HUGE outdoor play area surrounded by trees and set right back off the road. It's round the corner from Crystal Springs Shopping Village so I've found it particuarly useful for emergency presents!
...and relax
This little area is perfect for childen to take a moment's rest from playtime, read a book, or chat to their friends.
The natural look
Where possible, we've used wooden furniture to give our preschool a lovely, natural feel. The table and open space surrounding it lends itself perfectly to art activities.
Lunch is ready!
If your kid loves playing with food as much as mine then they will go crazy over our mini kitchen and market stall. They can have fun whilst learning math - it's a win win!
Once upon a time
Developing literacy is a big part of the day at Kids Konnect so it was important that we made an inviting area that encourages children to explore books.

This has to be one of my favorite areas as it's probably where we'll do Music and Movement, the funnest time of the day!
I love how the open space wonderfully accommodates little areas for activities.
