Kids Konnect Redwood City Summer Camp Activity Themes
Our curriculum is designed to be hands-on, engaging, and perfectly tailored for the 2 to 6-year-old developmental stage. Each week features a fresh, exciting theme, ensuring continuous discovery and preventing boredom. This summer will be filled with tons of sensory projects, science centers, and literacy activities.
June 8-12 - Mud Madness
Come explore with us as we get our hands dirty! We will be learning all about mud this week, with tons of sensory projects, science, centers, and learning opportunities. Each day we'll have water play so be sure to bring in your swimsuits and towels!
June 15-18 - Soapy Suds Lab
Now that we have been super dirty it's time to get CLEAN! We will use soap in all our sensory activities. Soap will be used in art projects, in water play and in science. Each day we'll have water play so be sure to bring in your swimsuits and towels!
Note: we are closed on June 19. Price for this week is $450.
June 22-26 - Learn With Legos
We like to think all of our little learners are possible engineers in the making. Legos, blocks and other building tools for kids provide an excellent medium for math, spatial awareness, physics and cause and effect all while having fun at the same time!
June 29-July 2 - Naturally Nature
We'll learn all about the flora and fauna of California and the Bay Area. Children will use all natural materials for their projects. We'll learn about ecology and become naturalists for the week, as well as adventuring over to Tilden Park's little farm and visiting the museum.

July 6-10 - Water Wonders
We love water at Kids Konnect! This week, weโll dive into fun, hands-on science all about water. Children will learn the cycle of water, will explore with ice, build a water wall for our playground, play water games and do several different types of science projects!
July 13-17 - Food Fun
This week is so good that you can eat it! Children will use food in all their projects and sensory activities this week. Each child will also do a developmentally appropriate cooking project in the morning. We expect to learn about measurement, healthy eating, and exercise.
July 20-24 - Crazy Concoctions
We'll all be exploring how to make several concoctions such as oobleck, play dough, clay, and gak. Your children will become amateur chemists as they learn all about measurement and how different compounds come together to create fun sensory mixtures.
July 27-31 - Super Sports
From soccer to yoga, Sports Week is all about getting active and having fun. Children try different games and movements, build strength and coordination, and discover new ways to move their bodies. Along the way, they learn about teamwork, taking turns, and cheering on their friends, helping them grow in confidence both on and off the field.
August 3-7 - Summer Science Lab
Combining sensory play with STEAM, our mini scientists will dive into hands-on experiments, explore textures, colors, sounds, and reactions, and discover how science is part of their everyday lives. Through playful investigation and guided discovery, children build curiosity, confidence, and early problem-solving skills - all while having lots of fun.

How much does the camp cost?
Tuition: $600/week with two exceptions below.
We'll be closed for one day each of these weeks and so tuition will be priced at $450 for those weeks.

What age group is this camp suitable for?
The camp is suitable for children aged 2 to 6 years old
Who will be supervising the children at the camp?
Kids Konnect teachers are carefully selected for their background and experience working with young children, enthusiasm in fostering nurturing relationships, and fun, compassionate personalities. All camp staff will be background-checked and trained in first aid/CPR.
Where is the Summer Camp located?
The Kids Konnect Summer Camp is located at our Redwood City site. The address is 1968 Old County Rd, Redwood City, CA 94063.
What health and safety measures are in place at the camp?
Keeping campers healthy and safe is our top priority.
- Make sure your campers arrive healthy, well rested, and able to participate.

Camp staff will be provided training on health and safety procedures and how to maintain a clean facility.

Staff will make sure that campers are practicing good hygiene habits by washing hands routinely and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces and materials throughout the day.
What meals or snacks are provided, if any? How do you handle food allergies?
Every day, we'll provide lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, all prepared fresh on-site. A menu will be provided to families monthly. Please note any food allergies or dietary restrictions upon enrollment, so we are aware and can provide substitutes as needed.
What is the ratio of campers to staff?
One teacher to every eight children to provide really personalized learning! For toddlers it's 1:4.

How will the camp benefit my child's learning and development?
Children will benefit from developing socially with peers and learning from experienced teachers. The super fun range of learning activities has been designed to ignite young minds and encourage curiosity.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation requests must be submitted to Shabriese Davis at Bri@kids-konnect.com no later than May 17th for a 50% deposit refund. Any cancellations made after May 17th will forfeit the 100% of the $100/week deposit. We understand that schedule changes can happen, so you may switch one of your selected weeks to another week that better fits your schedule โ one time only.
