Outer Space: Our activities are going to be out of this world! We're looking forward to learning about the planets and all things space! We'll have plenty of opportunities to read one of our favorite books, "There's No Place Like Space" by Tish Rabe and other great space-related books!

Construction: It's time to get our safety hat and vest on for construction week! We're looking forward to showing off our engineering skills by building mini cities and learning about the very beloved construction trucks!

Muffins With Mom: Join us in celebrating Mother's day on Thursday, 05/09 from 8:15 am - 9:00 am. We'll have yummy muffins and coffee that you may enjoy while you spend some special time with your little one at school!

Event - Parents Night Out: Our teachers will be hosting a Parents Night Out on Friday, 05/17 from 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm. Use this time for a date night or some special you time!

Reminders

Signing your child in/out: As a reminder, please ensure that your child is signed in/out prior to leaving the school premises. Recording attendance is a licensing requirement, used to take ratios throughout the day, as well as for emergency head count. Parents who fail to sign their child in/out will be fined $10 and will be charged through the app.

Drop Off/Arrival Policy: Drop off is before 9:30 AM. KKP has the right to refuse to accept your child for the day if you arrive later than 9:30 AM (Parent Handbook Pg. 8). Drop offs past 9:30 may cause a disturbance to the class setting as teachers must be pulled away from their classes in order to intake the child and help them adjust to the schedule. We also want to ensure that each child is able to enjoy all of the beneficial and exciting parts of the day. If you are running late, we ask that you send us a Procare message so that we may let you know if we will be able to accept your child.
Labelling Clothes: We kindly ask that you label ALL clothes and items as we want to ensure that each child is taking home their proper items. It can be quite tricky for us to be able to differentiate similar items on a daily basis when they are not labeled.

Reminders: Please remember to sign your child in/out everyday.

Teacher Celebration: Please join us in celebrating our amazing teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week which will take place the week of May 6^th - May 10^th . We will have special thank you notes available for Parents to take home and complete.
