Hope everyone has had a wonderful year so far! I can’t believe January is over. With February starting, I would like to go over a few things.

Thank you to all our families for their continuous dedication to keeping our school a safe and healthy place. After the holiday season, the cases of covid were at an all-time high and I appreciate how thoughtful everyone has been before coming back to school. Being cautious and testing shows how much everyone cares about our school community.

Drive through or walk-in testing scheduled here: https://www.smcgov.org/landing-page/covid-testing or you can use your local testing site.
Home testing: you can order kits on Amazon; Walgreens has at home testing kits as well
Home PCR testing: https://www.ondemand.labcorp.com/at-home-test-kits/covid-19-test-home-collection-kit (free with insurance, select congregate setting)

Kids Konnect will be closed Monday, February 21st for President’s Day

Valentine’s Day Celebration will be on Feb 14th: more information is on the newsletter attached
Dolphin Room Parents: An email was sent out regarding Kindergarten. Don’t forget to fill out the questionnaire.

Thank you again for welcoming Ms. Krista and I into the Kids Konnect Family. She's enjoyed working in the Dolphin Room and we're so happy to have her join us.

We are still hoping to reach our goal to raise enough funds to renovate our outdoor play area. If you are still interested in donating, please email Ingrid for further directions at Ingrid@kids-konnect.com.

February is upon us and it's stirring up excitement for Valentine's Day! Each classroom will be hosting its own party that day. If you choose to participate in the festivities, please be sure to bring enough cards/treats for everyone in your child's class. Please be mindful of the types of treats you bring (we are
a nut-free school).

Reminders

• Please make sure to arrive at school by 9:30 am so as not to interrupt the program in progress
• Make sure to sign in and out with a first and last name that is legible
• If your child has been sick please keep them home until they are symptom free for 24 hours, fever free for 72 hours
