BSc Consumer and Family Sciences

Hello, families! My name is Yamileht, but you can also call me Yami. I’m happy to be part of the Kids Konnect team and to be working with your wonderful kids. I graduated from San Francisco State University with a bachelor's degree in Consumer and Family Sciences with an emphasis in Child and Family Studies and previously worked at the Kids Konnect Preschool in San Mateo!

I have been working as a preschool teacher for three years now and have enjoyed every single moment. The most beautiful moments are when I witness a child discovering something new about themselves and the world, watching the bewilderment in their eyes as they learn, and the oh-so-contagious belly laughs. I really look forward to meeting you!

AA in Early Childhood Development (in progress)

My name is Audelia I have been a teacher in the Bay Area for ten years. I am a mother of two children, my Daughter Ashia is in middle-school and my son Darius is three years old. I fell in love with teaching while volunteering through ROP, I was a sixth-grade student and I babysat for adult ESL students in the evening. I had a blast! After that I found joy in caring for my cousins, nieces, and nephews. I was given an opportunity to work as a professional teacher ten years ago, and from then on it’s been history. I joined Merritt College and received my teacher credentials! When Im not teaching you can find me spending time with my family at the movies or dancing. Working with children is my passion, and I look forward to working with my new Kids Konnect families.

Pre-K Teacher

AA in Early Childhood Development (in progress)

What I like to do in my free time is spending time with my son, I also like to go out dancing with my friends, shoot pool, bowling, and do my own nails for fun, also shopping.

I enjoyed working with children because they represent hope in the future. To me working with Children is a great opportunity to be of service to one community being patience and children teach you valuable life lesson they teach you how to appreciate the little things in life.

I have worked with children over 8 years and I enjoyed watching children developed and I have passion of art which I'm able to share with children and the families.
