School Director

BSc Nutrition and Kinesiology
Master's in Early Childhood Education

My name is Tara, I am originally from Erie, PA. I have a Bachelors in Nutrition and Kinesiology from Penn State University. I started working for a company in PA where my job was to educate children pre-k -12th grade about nutrition education. From this job I learned that I loved working with children and teaching and decided to go back to school. When I moved to CA I worked as a preschool teacher for a year and a half while finishing my degree. I now have a Master's in Early Childhood Education and a teaching certification.

I adore working with children because they are honest, innocent, and hilarious. Being around kids all day is unpredictable and so much fun; I believe that we can learn a lot from them. In my free time I enjoy being in nature and reading.

Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

AA degree in Child Development (in progress)
BA Criminal Justice

My name is Ana, I was raised in East Palo Alto, and my preferred motto is “Hakuna Matata!”
I started working with children 9 years ago through nannying and after-school care. I hold a bachelors in Criminal Justice and am currently working toward an associate in Child Development. My favorite thing about working with young children is their genuine excitement, curiosities and eagerness to learn. I believe learning is lifelong. We learn from children as much as they learn from us. I believe in supporting the whole-child, and includes learning through play. My idea of a good time consists of family, friends, laughter, music and food. In my spare time, wherever I am, I yoga!
